Executive Assistant to the CEO
As the executive assistant to the CEO, you will provide critical support across a variety of operational tasks. In this role, you’ll own the CEO’s calendar and inbox, drive scheduling and follow-up across a network of team members, investors, and partners, , and serve as a true operational partner, keeping a high-output founder focused on what matters most. Someone with strong EQ, the confidence to manage up and push back with good judgment, and experience supporting a CEO.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess excellent communication skills, and thrive in the fast-paced environment of a rapidly scaling company. Thea Energy’s dynamic team is made up of self-motivated individuals with an excitement for solving complex problems.
Key Responsibility Areas:
- Manage and maintain calendars, including scheduling meetings and trips.
- Collaboratively ensure that use of time is aligned with real-time priorities of the company with minimal friction.
- Ensure team is always prepared (and never surprised by) meetings.
- Anticipate needs, and issues before they arise.
- Serve as a point of contact between the executive team and various internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage and triage inbound communications.
- Draft, proofread, and edit documents, reports, communications, and other materials.
- Track action items and follow-ups, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
- Arrange trips, events, team meetings, and offsite activities as required.
Ideal Experience & Skillsets:
- 7+ years experience supporting CEOs in high-growth organizations.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Highly structured and process-driven, with a speed and execution mindset.
- Ability to manage competing priorities across internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Startup experience strongly preferred; comfort with ambiguity, and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proactive, self-directed, and solutions-oriented.
- Tech-savvy: fluent in Microsoft Office, Google workspace, Slack, Asana, and similar tools; quick to learn new software.
- High integrity, discretion, and professionalism in handling confidential and sensitive information.
- Bachelor's degree or greater.
