POSITION SUMMARY
The Laboratory for Laser Energetics (LLE) of the University of Rochester is a unique national resource for research and education in science and technology. LLE was established in 1970 as a center for the investigation of the interaction of intense radiation with matter.
The Facility Operations Division within LLE is seeking to fill a Section Leader role which oversees the Omega EP Experimental Operations team and diagnostic operations. A successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of technologies used to conduct experiments and leadership of a highly active work force. The experimental operations section is responsible for vacuum systems, mechanical assembly of diagnostics, and operation of custom process software to execute scientific campaigns.

PAY RANGE: $77,216.00 – $115,824.00 Annually
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates are set within the job’s compensation range, and determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
