Your responsibilities

  • Candidate sourcing: Support active sourcing and pipeline building for highly specialised scientific and technical roles, including laser and plasma physicists, optics, high-power electronics, control systems, mechanical and systems engineers, across LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, academic networks, publications, conferences and other relevant talent communities.
  • Application review & screening: Support the review and pre-screening of incoming applications and participate in initial candidate conversations to assess technical background, motivation and fit for niche, hard-to-fill roles.
  • Hiring manager collaboration: Work closely with recruiters, hiring managers, scientists and engineers to shape compelling job profiles and develop targeted sourcing strategies for complex technical positions.
  • Interview coordination & candidate experience: Coordinate multi-stage interview processes with technical panels and stakeholders, and support candidate communication throughout the hiring journey to ensure a smooth and professional experience.
  • ATS & recruiting reporting: Maintain accurate candidate pipelines and recruiting data in Greenhouse, including status updates, pipeline hygiene and reporting, and support the preparation of recruiting KPIs for the People team and leadership.
  • Employer branding & talent outreach: Help create job descriptions, outreach messages and candidate-facing content tailored to deep-tech and STEM talent, and support university partnerships, PhD/postdoc networks, conferences and engineering or physics career fairs.
  • People & Recruiting projects: Contribute to onboarding coordination, recruiting process improvements, tooling, talent market research and other ad-hoc People projects as Marvel Fusion continues to scale.
