CIEMAT (Centro de Investigaciones Energéticas, Medioambientales y Tecnológicas) is a public research agency in Spain specializing in energy and environmental research and technology. It performs research and technological development projects related to energy and environment, including fusion energy, as well as fundamental research. CIEMAT operates under the auspices of the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities.
