Copenhagen Atomics is building a unique thorium molten salt reactor with the footprint of a 40-foot shipping container, and a reactor designed for mass-manufacturing. The company has a product-first approach meaning a strong focus on invent, build, test and harden technology. On this path Copenhagen Atomics has taken out a number of patents and made numerous technology breakthroughs.

The focus to build products has resulted in leadership in reactor technology, test systems/hardware, purified salts, including FLIBe, and enriched lithium (Li6). Methods to provide highly purified salts at ton scale volumes has been a significant step forward and the experience curve is a key factor and resulted in more than 350 years of test time as of today.
