Eos Atomics

Eos Atomics is rethinking negative ion Neutral Beam Injection (NBI) from first principles to create compact, efficient, and lower-cost next-generation N-NBI systems. Using our proprietary ion Beam Window Array technology, we’ve developed a novel neutralizer design that reduces scattering losses and heat loads, eliminating the need for active cooling and complex vacuum systems. This simplifies system integration and enables our unique energy recovery architecture for true continuous-wave (CW) operation.

Our first product is a Medium Energy 400-500keV NBI system, which will be available for deliveries from 2028. This device will be offered in modules of 0.5-5MW of beam power with a target wall-plug efficiency of 60%.

Our second offering is a High Energy 700keV+ NBI system, which will be available for deliveries from 2031. This device will be offered in modules of 1-10MW of beam power with a target wall-plug efficiency of 70%.
