Horne Technologies is a Northern Colorado fusion company developing a practical, capital-efficient pathway to fusion energy. Horne’s reactor architecture combines two proven low-capital fusion approaches with advanced superconducting magnet technology, enabling rapid, startup-style iteration at dramatically lower cost than conventional fusion systems.

The Colorado-built prototype has validated key elements of the company’s theoretical approach, culminating in the generation of a first-of-its-kind dual-confinement plasma. Horne is now integrating advanced diagnostics, sensor systems, and operational simulations developed both in-house and alongside National Labs to inform Generation 3 reactor designs.

These next-generation systems are being developed to prototype a high-flux neutron source for aerospace materials and electronics applications, creating a pathway toward near-term revenue, while continuing to advance toward scalable behind-the-meter and grid-scale energy systems.
