Voltage Transducer
Description
The Knick P52000 is a precision high-voltage transducer capable of measuring voltages up to 4,800 V with switchable, calibrated measurement ranges — making it well-suited for monitoring the powerful electromagnetic and power systems found in nuclear fusion facilities. Its rated isolation voltage of up to 4,800 V AC/DC and a test voltage of up to 18 kV AC ensure robust electrical separation between high-voltage plasma systems and sensitive control electronics, protecting both equipment and personnel. Built-in self-diagnostics and short-circuit recognition provide continuous circuit monitoring, which is critical for maintaining operational safety and uptime in complex fusion environments. With an operating temperature range of –40 to 85 °C and high resistance to shock, vibration, and electromagnetic interference, the P52000 is engineered to perform reliably under the demanding conditions inherent to fusion energy research and development.
