UNITY-1

UNITY-1 is a lead-lithium fuel cycle test facility for fusion machine components. This facility focuses on evaluating blanket components and thermal cycles. UNITY-1 is located in Kyoto Fusioneering's Kyoto Research Centre in Japan. UNITY-1 will also act as a user facility for the broader fusion community. Full-scale testing is expected to begin in 2026.
