About The Role
- Participate in the assembly of electrical and electromechanical systems, including wiring, cabling, racks, and instrumentation
- Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, bills of materials (BOMs), and CAD models to execute precise builds
- Perform functional testing, inspection, and basic troubleshooting of assembled units
- Develop and improve assembly procedures, work instructions, and build documentation
- Collaborate with design engineers to resolve build issues and drive design-for-assembly improvements
- Assist in the preparation of molds and forms
- Mix and pour epoxy resins into molds for transformer coils and components, ensuring proper degassing and vacuum pressure
- Inspect finished castings for defects, such as voids or cracks, ensuring compliance with design specifications
- Maintain organized documentation, labeling, and configuration of hardware systems
About you
- Experience with hand tools, measurement equipment, or assembly work
- Basic understanding of electrical schematics or wiring diagrams
- Ability to quickly learn technical concepts, tools, and assembly processes
- Strong organizational skills and ability to follow structured procedures
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Fast learner who can pick up new technical skills quickly
- Are comfortable working in a dynamic environment
- Individual who enjoys hands-on work and problem-solving
- Field of study is not a limiting factor; we value candidates who demonstrate strong learning ability, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
- Lifting will be required - up to 50-60 lbs.
At TAE Technologies, we consider a wide range of factors when making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and job-related knowledge, training; licenses and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements depending on the position offered (non-Sr., Sr.). The compensation range for these roles are $35.00 - $40.00 an hour.
