Responsibilities:

LLE is seeking an Optical Engineer to work in the Multi Terawatt – Optical Parametric Amplification Line (MTW-OPAL). The successful candidate must be a detail-oriented, analytical engineer capable of supporting laser operations through data-driven analysis, technical evaluation, and hands-on operation and testing. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong optical background who enjoys problem-solving, working with technical equipment, and collaborating across engineering teams.

PAY RANGE:$61,000.00 – $85,400.00

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates are set within the job’s compensation range, and determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
