CFS is hiring production technicians in Somerville, MA who can help our work in fusion energy innovation. That means your knack for building cutting-edge hardware and tackling challenging projects can bring a new energy technology to the world and a rewarding paycheck to you.

We’re hiring production technicians at a variety of levels who can work on first, second, and third shifts on weekdays. Second shift comes with a 10% pay differential, and third shifts comes with a 15% pay differential. The pay ranges from $30–$47 per hour before that differential, depending on your experience, and we offer benefits and equity in the company.

We’re looking for technicians who:

  • Have 3+ years of experience
  • Know electromechanical parts and assemblies
  • Can troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing discrepancies
  • Can read and interpret assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, with great attention to detail

The specific pay differentials are:

  • Weekday first shift (Monday-Friday, 6:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.): no differential
  • Weekday second shift (Monday-Friday, 2:30 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.): 10%
  • Weekday third shift (Monday–Friday, 10 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.): 15%

$30 - $47 an hour
Hourly pay rate range for this full-time position + equity + benefits. The actual rate will depend on level, location, qualifications, and experience. The range displayed on each job posting reflects new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Benefits include:
