Starlight Engine is a Japanese fusion energy startup established in April 2025 as a group company of Kyoto Fusioneering. It leads the FAST (Fusion by Advanced Superconducting Tokamak) project, a privately led industry-academia initiative aiming to demonstrate fusion power generation in the 2030s with a compact, low-aspect-ratio superconducting tokamak.
