UK Industrial Fusion Solutions (UKIFS) is a subsidiary of the UK Atomic Energy Authority established to deliver the STEP prototype fusion power plant and develop a U.K. fusion supply chain. The organization leads the national STEP program, targeting a spherical tokamak prototype at West Burton in Nottinghamshire UKIFS operates as a public-private partnership, integrating engineering and construction partners to support the commercial deployment of fusion.
