Description

University of Saskatchewan – Compact Torus Injector is a CT injection experiment that consists of a Marshall gun and a coaxial rail gun. The aim of the device is to study tokamak fuelling technology and plasma current drive. US-CTI was installed in the University’s STOR-M tokamak in 1995. In STOR-M, US-CTI is set up on flexible joints to enable injection at various angles to maximize fuel deposition.
