The UK government, with Lord Vallance, launched a new fusion strategy during a visit to Tokamak Energy, which includes over £2.5 billion in funding over five years to support fusion research and commercialization.
The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) and Type One Energy signed initial contracts for Project Infinity, a fusion power plant development, to supply the Tennessee Valley with clean energy by the mid-2030s. TVA will assist in manufacturing and construction for the fusion machines at its facilities.
